Heyyy everyone! :) Okay so this was today's look. I went for really nude neutral eyeshadow with really bold and thick liner (hard to see in the picture, didn't have much time in the morning). I paired the nude eyes with a bright purple lip for some fun!
I ended up going to Shoppers and Staples this morning to pick up some random stuff. At Staples, I got some new mesh pencil cups for my large face brushes, and some random stuff for work. I went to Shoppers and picked up a beautiful orange lipstick from GOSH and was super excited about it. I have a few orange lip colours already, but this one was definitely a must. It'll be perfect for spring/summer.
So when I got home, I realized how badly I needed to re-organize my makeup collection. My desk was overflowing with pots, tubes, compacts, etc. It was just too much. And I'm the kind of girl that really needs change. So I thought about it, and I decided to act on my ideas of getting new lipstick storage. I really wanted to buy one of those lipstick trays that hold 60 lipsticks, and I found the perfect one online for $19.99! But then I saw the shipping price... an extra $30.00. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-
Yeah. Not impressed about that... so anyways, I've been trying to figure out a way to make one on my own. I tried searching everywhere online for some ideas, basically ANYTHING that would help me.
Of course I found nothing... but either way I asked my sister for help and we put together a creation that consisted of: an empty bottom half of a Ferrero Rocher container, and cardboard strips. It actually worked out REALLY well- AND it holds 54 lipsticks (or lipglosses/chapsticks/lip tars)!! I'm so happy with it! I didn't spend ANY money on this and it's exactly what I needed! :) I really hope this inspires someone to make something of their own like this! I plan on adding some ribbon to it to make it more visually appealing. Thanks for reading <3
